Fujitsu Scan Snap Scanner Gives Paperless Efficiency to Your Business at CES

The Scan Snap paper efficiency tool will help entrepreneurs manage their business paperwork. Anne Montera from the Health Tech Weekly podcast stopped by the Fujitsu booth to look at these business scanners to help you manage your mounds of paperwork and receipts. The new IX-500 from Fujitsu will sit on your desktop and the with push of a single blue button, begin scanning an entire stack of paperwork into easy to organize and store computer files.

The Scan Snap scanner can process 25 pages per minute (that’s just about 2 seconds a page) and while it’s scanning both sides of every page, it will auto-recognize color or black and white, and eliminate blank pages. It has text recognition so even if a page is loaded upside-down it will automatically rotate the page right-side-up. Once everything is scanned the accompanying software allows you to organize the documents by scanning them to pdf, microsoft word or excel, or even recognize and organize business cards for you.

The IX-500 desktop Scan Snap scanner from Fujitsu is available for $495 giving you affordable document management right at your fingertips.
